Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your answers are fantastic. Spending time in a cool pool while reading sounds like the perfect way to get through this heat wave. Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers, especially #1. A pool sounds very nice. I hope you get to live closer to your grand daughter in the near future.
Great answers. How far away is your granddaughter? I’m sorry that you don’t live closer to her.
Have a blessed weekend. 🙂
Suzanne: By car, it takes about 5 hours to get there. Thank God for face-time!
I am glad that you have face-time, then. That is a very long drive!
Have a blessed day.
It is not that hot here on the Texas Gulf Coast. The heat index is only 102. Have a cool and blessed week.
David: We had “feel like” temps of 100+ with the humidity this past week. But I would much rather have that than the cold and snow of winter.
amen to #!! Floating around in a pool sounds fun. My brother Alberto and I love water and often con the Female Human into turning the water on in the deep kitchen sink so we can sit there and get wet.

Seems like many of us are trying to find ways to escape the heat. I like how you did it. Have a great weekend!
Yvonne: AC works for me too. But I feel that summer is way too short so I try and use it as much as possible. It doesn’t get as much use now compared to when my boys were younger and lived at home. In the summers, their friends were here every day. My husband couldn’t understand why our grocery bills were so high but when there were 6-10 boys here, food, pizza, and soda was needed every day.
